On a unrelated note, MIRAI Group - the organization I run in Second Life and elsewhere, has released test footage of stress tests on the Aditi Grid using AWS.

As of February 21st, Sansar, Linden Lab's bastard child of Second Life and the VR Hype of 2018, is now up for sale to any takers, according to this report from James Wagner Au at NWN. Black Dragon on Linux - Update 1

It's only a hour or so later, but so far I've made inroads in testing and can report that Black Dragon is relatively stable. It seems that the issue with M3 Heads I was having was intentional due to how NiranV handled Alphas in BD compared to other viewers - so it's a intentional issue. If you're running Kemono or M4 heads, you should be fine. I've also taken these screenshots in SL directly with Black Dragon, namely at Tokagoya. So far, Black Dragon works fine and it seems to work out of the box with no bugs. Soon I'll write up an installer for Black Dragon on Lutris.net, and I will provide a mirror here to the installer for ease of use. Now, you may be wondering - why Lutris? Sansar at Death's Door - Why Linden Lab's attempt at competing with VRChat has failed

I  was made aware of a posted on James Wagner Au's blog regarding 2020 predictions for SL, namely the following in brief: " Unable to handle the burden of Sansar, Linden Lab will sell off Second Life and inevitably the platform will be shut down." With all due respect to the creator of this comment - this has to be the biggest slice of Wisconsin Bullshit that I've ever heard. And this article is going to explain exactly why, along with why Sansar failed to begin with. A Lack of Business Sense The idea that Linden Lab would sell off Second Life, its' most profitable venture, in favor of a failing business venture that will never get off the ground - is so absurd that it cannot even be defined accurately like that.
